Our Friars kicked off the League schedule with a nice win over a talented Mercy team.
The Score was 21-15 at the end of the first quarter, and our team continued to add to that lead for the games remainder.
The Final score was Friars 61 and Mercy 48.
The Friars were led by Tamia Lawhorne’s 18 points over 2 and a half quarters of play.
Sr. Point Guard, Lauren Hackett added 8 points along with a game high 9 assists and 4 steals.
Syd Taylor also added 8 points with 4 assists followed by
