Final Score 71-47
Total Domination was the theme on Saturday. Sacred Heart started off strong but we were just too good and too fast! Half time the score was St. A’s 42- SHA 20. The score steadily mounted up to a 30 point lead at which time the starters were given their Done for the Day notices and our Ladies in Waiting finished the job with a 71- 47 final tally.
Scoring was led by
Tamia Lawhorne with 17 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks (a double-double),
Toni Kinard with 14 pts,4 steals,
Sr PG Lauren Hacket with 13 pts, 6 assists and 6 steals, and
Ashia Smith adding 10 points and 4 steals.
Other notables in this Friar Road Show were the Taylor sisters with Sydney having a bad shooting day but finding a way to get it done with 5 pts, 10 rebounds and 7 assists and Synclair adding 4 pts and 9 rebounds.
