Game Two of the Friars's consecutive 3-game road trip was a grinding, grueling game where neither team could get more than 3 points separation from each other.  Hampered by "Lay-up Flu", our Friar fighters left over 20 points that could have given them breathing space rolling either in-and-out or around the rim!  Dogged defense was played by both sides as we came into the home stretch and the game was tied with 1:40 left to play. Our Friars dug deep and turned in impressive performances with Sydney Taylor hitting a critical 3 to put us up by 3 with less than a minute to go! Our players turned into LockDown Defensive Machines on the ensuing inbounds and enabled Sydney Taylor to come up with 2 consecutive steals for break away layups to ice the game for us in the stretch and win her MVP honors for the game.  Way to Play Team!!
