In a hard fought defensive battle, after playing the day before, our ladies dug in and emerged victorious against this hard nosed and relentlessly aggressive team. Our Friars held Notre Dame to 4 points in the final quarter after themselves being held to 2 in the second, and closed out the game in grind it out style.
Ashia Smith was relentless at the point both offensively and defensively the entire game. Junior Synclair Taylor was valiant getting back on the floor with a sprained ankle. Toni Kinard was a flawless 4 for 4 at the line in the final period and came up with key steals to help close this one out!
