What was supposed to be a payback for an earlier loss, turned into another loss to this team that saw its star come out on fire. She missed nothing whenever the ball touched her hand. Our team went down 47 to 24 at the half, and were only able to make up 2 points of that deficit by the end of the game. We played hard but were never in it. Senior Syd Taylor poured in a valiant effort of 25 points but Staten Island's Sophia DeMauro torched us for 35! Not a bad game on our part, but a phenomenal game by SIA. Back to Back games are tough!
