How INCREDIBLE was that meet last night?? WOOO
I personally had a blast! The Friar Fans were LOUD too!
So great to have everyone back. Energy and enthusiasm were off the charts! THANK YOU to ALL who helped/assisted and made donations.
I must give a HUGE SHOUT OUT to Friar Mary McKenna...
What a week she had....!!!!
She not only swam the first in-season State Qualifying time in the league the other night with a 5:09.06 in the 500... (holy fast!)
but also committed to.... PRINCETON!!!
CONGRATULATIONS MARY!!!
BTW.... Mary also set a NEW female open water record crossing the Great South Bay last August. (1:52:38.3) The old record was set in 1975. Quite an accomplishment!!!
