St. Anthony's fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 7-2 loss to Chaminade on Wednesday. Chaminade scored on a single by Aidan Umhafer and a stolen base by Brendan Daly in the second inning.
Chaminade got things started in the second inning. Umhafer singled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run.
Chaminade scored three runs in the third inning. Logan Koester, Joseph McCloskey, and Brendan O’Hara all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.
Robert Dahl earned the victory on the hill for Chaminade. He allowed six hits and one run over six innings, striking out five. Patrick Cullinan threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.
Louis Stallone took the loss for St. Anthony's. He went two and a third innings, allowing five runs on six hits and striking out two.
