St. Anthony's snagged a late lead and defeated Kellenberg Memorial 6-5 on Wednesday. St. Anthony's trailed 3-2 in the top of the seventh inning when Jake Barrett homered on a 0-2 count, scoring four runs.
St. Anthony's opened up scoring in the second inning when Jack Calla grounded out, scoring one run.
Kellenberg Memorial evened things up at two in the bottom of the third inning. Andrew Casciohit a solo homer.
Billy Fitzgerald got the win for St. Anthony's. He went six innings, allowing three runs on six hits and striking out three. Joseph Okpych threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen. Okpychrecorded the last three outs to earn the save for St. Anthony's.
Joseph Dellolio took the loss for Kellenberg Memorial. He allowed one hit and four runs over two innings, walking one.
