St. Anthony's fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 1-0 loss to St. John the Baptist on Tuesday. St. John the Baptist took the lead on a groundout in the first inning.
The pitching was strong on both sides. St. John the Baptist pitchers struck out six, while St. Anthony's sat down seven.
St. John the Baptist fired up the offense in the first inning, when Giancarlo Giacomettigrounded out, scoring one run.
