St. Anthony's defeated Chaminade 8-3 on Wednesday after taking the lead late in the game. The game was tied at two with St. Anthony's batting in the top of the sixth when Michael DeSantis singled on a 1-2 count, scoring two runs.
Chaminade got things moving in the second inning. Jason DeCaro's wild pitch allowed one run to score for Chaminade.
St. Anthony's notched four runs in the seventh inning. Tajjiddin Farmer and Edward Lippert each drove in runs during the inning.
Declan Sullivan earned the win for St. Anthony's. The bulldog surrendered one run on one hit over two and two-thirds innings, striking out three and walking one.
