St. Anthony's Friars Varsity Seilder Throws No-Hitter to Defeat Sacred Heart Academy
Alyssa Seidler didn't allow a single hit as St. Anthony's Friars Varsity Defeated Sacred heart Academy 5-1 on Wednesday. To get the final out Seidler struck out Kramer.
St. Anthony's grabbed an early lead. The Friars scored an error in the first inning, a double by Eri Steinert in the second inning, a double by Kayla Daly in the second inning and a single by Seidler in the second inning.
The Friars pulled away for good with three runs in the second inning. In the second Steinert doubled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run, Daly doubled on the first pitch of the bat, scoring one run and Seidler singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
Seidler was the winning pitcher going seven innings, allowing zero hits and one run while striking out 14.
Varsity totaled nine hits in the game. Steinert and Daly each had multiple hits with Steinert leading the day going 3 for 3.
