2018 SEASON
The 2018 Boys' XC Team won the NSCHSAA Championship led by individual winner senior Matthew Payamps and runner-up senior Brendan Dearie.  The same two boys also had a 1-2 finish at the CHSAA State Championships, leading the team to a hard fought 3rd place finish. By virtue of their outstanding individual accomplishments, Payamps and Dearie also received All State honors. The varsity squad will graduate 12 seniors this year.

COACH:
Coach Tim Dearie is a St. Anthony’s Alum from the Class of ‘79 and has been coaching since 1984.  Coach Dearie just finished his 102nd season as a Cross Country and Track and Field coach. 63 of them were at St. Anthony’s.  Coach Dearie’s St. Anthony’s varsity teams have won 43 League Championships and 21 State Catholic Intersection titles. He is also the winningest coach at the State Federation XC Championships with five team titles.  He has coached countless individual and relay state champions and has helped develop more than fifty All Americans. Coach is also very proud that over thirty of his former athletes have gone on to become track and/or cross country coaches.
