The spring 2019 season started out slow. The team began the spring with the goal of wining the league championship in May. The girls improved throughout the season often running personal bests at each meet. The girls stepped up and answered questions surrounding the 4x100, 4x400, and the 4x800 meter relay.
Senior Nyha Butler and Jennifer Furman with sophomore Melissa Cunningham and freshmen Bernadette Bakke ran their personal best and won the 4x400m relay at this past weekends League championship.
The relay team of Jennifer Furman, Larissa Dorian, Kelly parker and Angelina Desjardin also ran a personal best time in the 4x800m.
And The 4x100m relay of Giavanna Ciaravino, Ashia Smith, Amy Tang and Felicity Permenter-Davis also ran a personal best time and took first at the league championship.
The teams pole vaulters Bianca Skelton, Marisa D’Angelo, Marissa Linder and Sophia Calabresse had a great season and placed 1st through 4th in the league championship.
Head Coach - Olivier St. Aude is in his 15th year at SA has captured a total of 9 CHSAA League titles between indoor and out door season and 11 City Champs between the two seasons.
