The men’s crew team has had quite the year. The team welcomed a boat load of new rowers, many who were 10^th and 11^th graders. The team also obtained a new racing shell, dubbed “The King” by the men. The team raced in five regattas this season. At Long Island Championships, the men came in 2^nd in the U17 eights category and 2^nd in the U19 fours category, falling only to a club from New Jersey. The men’s varsity eight finished fourth in the New York State Championship, only 6 hundredths of a second behind third. The varsity eight has received a wild card bid to race at the Scholastic Rowing Nationals and an opportunity for redemption. Overall, the men’s team has experienced a lot of progress on and off the water, much due to the senior leadership, and we look forward to the men’s program continuing to build next year.

Head Coach

Coach Weber started rowing as a high school sophomore at Kent School in CT and then rowed for Boston University for 4 years. Thereafter, she coached at the University of South Carolina for their club team while attending law school. While studying for the bar exam back in New York, she started coaching at St. Anthony's in 2011 and has been coaching here ever since.
