2023 Recap

Updated on 05/31/2023

Team Scholar - Aidan Brancaccio

Team MVP - Jack Morelli

The 2023 Outdoor Track and Field Season has been an interesting and successful one. For the team, the big highlights were winning the Deer Park Invitational, the St Anthony's Inv, runner-up at the prestigious Louckes Games without a few of our top athletes, and winning our 14th League Championship in a row this past Saturday in the rain on our home track.

After some unusual injuries to key people, the boys, as all good teams do, have stepped up and gotten the job done. The boys rallied and were still able to defeat Chaminde by 30 points.

This coming weekend is the State Catholic Championship where our injuries will be tougher to overcome but modify and adapt, we will!

Likely State Federation qualifiers will be Aidan Brancaccio, Matthew Lourenco, Jack Morelli, Collin McLaughlin, Jeremy Paredes, Hunter Wilson, and James Ciaccio.

After that, it's Nationals and the end to a very successful season.

Congratulations to the Varsity Boys Track Team on a great season.
