With a few major setbacks, the team got off to a slow start playing a very tough non league schedule. The girls tough schedule paid off, and they went on to win six of the last 10 games they played, winning the first round of the playoffs against Holy Trinity by a score of 46-38. More impressive was playing the number one seed at St Joseph's College in a hard fought battle. The girls are a young team only graduating one senior in Colleen McCullagh. The future for the girls basketball program looks very bright.
Coach Flaherty would like to thank all the coaches for all their time , knowledge and effort they have given to the girls basketball program. He would also like to thank the athletic department and Ed Modica for all their support throughout the season.
