Boys Lacrosse Recap
Posted on 06/03/2024
The Boys' Varsity Lacrosse Team had a very successful 2024 season. The team played a very challenging schedule this season, with games against nationally ranked opponents from 6 different states. The team finished with a record of 12 and 2 and holds a current National Rank of #3 in the Country and #1 in NYS.
During the 2024 campaign, the Friars beat Nationally Ranked Culver Academy, Haverford School, Darien, and St Johns DC, as well as Delbarton and Staples High School. Both are in contention for their local state titles.
The season culminated with the Friars beating Chaminade for the second time on May 7th on Cy Donnelly Field. The win gave the Friars their fifth straight Catholic League and fifth straight Catholic State Title. It was truly a special way to end another remarkable season.
Thank you to all the team members, particularly our seniors, for all they have done for our program!
