This year’s team was comprised of talented young athletes, who always strive to give it their all.  They ended the regular season with an overall record of 7-5, placing them fourth for the regular season.  They went into the playoffs ready to face the fifth seed Holy Trinity who proved to be a formidable opponent.  The match went back and forth but, in the end the Friars advanced to the semi finals after defeating the Titans in four games. As luck would have had it we were then match up against the number one seed SJB who was going into the match undefeated. The Friars put up a great fight it was a total team effort but in the end fell short.  Our future is looking great with these young talent athletes returning next year.

Head Coach Donna Newman has been coaching at SA for 28 years and was inducted in SA Hall of Fame in 2018.
