All of our athletes learned and progressed immensely throughout the season.  After consistent wins, all season over local rivals St. John the Baptist, and Bayshore, and strong showings over highly competitive teams in New Jersey, the team performed well at the state championship in Saratoga.  Four out of six boats progressed to the grand finals, and the Men's second varsity 8 took home a bronze medal.  The athletes executed perfectly, with their last race of the season being the fastest race of the year.  We are extremely proud of our athletes’ performance and are looking forward to the underclassmen moving up to fill varsity boats.

Head Coach Clary

Coach Clary is an alumnus of the Class of 13'.  Clary raced for Divison 1 Marietta College for three years, and then gained strong coaching experience working at the Cleveland Rowing Foundation, Western Reserve Rowing Association, Marietta College, and Sag Harbor Community Rowing, before finally returning to St. Anthony’s to coach the Novice and JV Boys and girls.  He became Head Coach in the fall of 2020. In addition to coaching crew, Coach Clary has been teaching physics in the science department since the fall of 2018.
