2023 Recap

Updated on 05/31/2023

Team Scholar - Emma Sieger

Team MVP - Anna Sadler

This girl’s crew team has made significant progress over the spring. Throughout the season, they raced in tough categories against some of the country’s fastest crews. With only one senior, and mostly juniors and sophomores, all of the girls worked together to establish their presence with  a third and first place finish at Long Island Championships and culminated with 2nd place finishes at New York State Championships in both the Girls Varsity 8 and Girls Second Varsity 8 categories.

The coaches are beyond proud of both teams.  Their dedication and hard work led both groups to their best results in several years.

Congratulations to the Varsity Girls and Boys Crew Team on a great season.”

Head Coach
Jackie Weber - Started rowing as a high school sophomore at Kent School in CT and then rowed for Boston University for 4 years. Thereafter she coached at the University of South Carolina for their club team while attending law school. While studying for the bar exam back in New York, she started coaching at St. Anthony's in 2011 and has been coaching here ever since.
